We went to the National Agriculture Hall of Fame yesterday. It was interesting to Neil, and I recognized alot of stuff we used on the farm when I was a kid. Wish I had all that stuff now.
Neil didn't know there was more than one kind of chicken. The museum was in Bonner Springs Ks which is a suberb of Kansas City. We went to Famous Dave's for lunch, but it wasn't near as good as the one in Gilroy. When we came out of the restaurant the sky was a dark purple off in the distance, (toward the motorhome), so we decided to come home, we were always on the edge of it, but we only had rain. The storm had 75 mph wind, rain, hail (half dollar size). When we got to Ottawa, which is 20 mi from Motorhome, it had broke power poles, turned a semi on it's side, knocked out electric for miles, and downed alot of trees and small limbs were all over the streets and highways. We got home and we had NO damage, except we were without electric for about 4 hours. Why these people are crazy enough to stay here I have NO idea, gimme Ca with it's earthquakes any day. People here actually believe that the earth opens up and people go in it and are never seen again.
